Back in 1986 in the days of Expo, 3 young golf pioneers envisioned a challenge pursuit for a prized Green Jacket. This challenge at its core was to test nerve and skill, BUT THAT'S NOT ALL!

This challenge was to test those attributes under significant influences. During the qualifying round, what kind of influences was to be left up to the player, using the usual self regulated system expected in long honoured golf tradition. Qualifying for the final playoff required one or more of a variety of skilled accomplishments. Victory in the final playoff however would require the contestants to overcome more obstacles. A true champion would end his day in intoxicated disaster. From this premise, the MASTERS OF DISASTER was born. Now 36 years old it is a tradition like no other, with fine friends, fine attire, fine golf and fines from golf courses who would not have us back.
